Welcome to my old Flash Projects section. These were various things I worked on in college way back in 2004 when I was actively taking Flash (or IMT-145 SECT-1632) at Mira Costa College. Some of these were just epic failures as I learned the ropes, others were fully functional (though often incomplete) works. Feel free to browse around and give feedback via the Planet Zebeth shoutbox, or if you'd prefer there is also my email address.

Kraid Eyes Flash File - This was the very first thing I created during one of the first two classes I took. I actually made it just by fiddling around during the lesson, I'm not entirely sure we'd even hit this part of the class yet.

Early Website File - Early Version of a website I was tinkering around with as part of a project/assignment for class. Nothing works in there, so just close it out when you finish looking. The big Kraid is the one used in the Kraid Eyes file.

Early Website File 2 - Improved upon version of the previous file. Added the Kraid Wireframe model I made based on the Super Metroid sprite. The links can be clicked, but again, nothing actually happens.

Super Metroid Kraid Wireframe/Unshaded - These are the various forms the wireframe model took. As you can see, the coloured version was never finished and merely dabbled upon. I screwed around making it after the previous assignment hence it wasn't included (and I thought it didn't look as nice).

Revised Metroid Website - In conjunction with another class I was taking, I designed this website from scratch using various images related to Metroid and others I made on my own in my Graphical Topography class, hence the liberal use of roll-overs, graphic styles, and textures. Most of the links do work, though it was never finished, so feel free to try out everything. The Samus/Journals Section WAS supposed to include at least one working page, but it was strangely left out. Below are some of the missing pieces:

Intro (eyes WOULD have blinked)

26794.178 - The Day I Died

Statuary

Planet Zebeth Animation - Ah... yes, this... I am so disappointed that I could never finish this. I worked so hard to get to the point I had with it, but things kept distracting me (like other classes and life and such) so it was never finished and I consequently didn't get a good grade on this particular project. It was going to be an opening for a storyline revolving around Sage that I had wanted to do. I'd gotten the idea after listening to the music track that was going to be included. The finished version would have been about a minute and a half with a music track playing after the fadeout at the end. IMPORTANT NOTE: When the animation finishes, right click on it, click FORWARD and then PLAY again for another part that I was working on.

Metroid Shooting Game - This is a fully functioning Flash Game that I reskinned as part of one of my last assignments, utilizing sprites, music, and sound effects from the games. Mind you not everything was possible to change, but I did the best I could in those situations. Yes, it is impossible to actually "beat" it. The thing is simply a shooter to see how many points you can get.
